Pennsylvania Travelers Scammed
People gathered in St. Peter church in Bustleton Pennsylvania to speak with police about what they believe to be a major scam involving the Logos Travel agency.
“Since three days nobody has slept in the house, we have so many occasions that we are planning to attend,” says Mashina Patel who spent close to $20,000 for plane tickets to India. According to officials, the travel agency is cooperating with the investigation.
Many of the residents, over 100 in attendance, claimed to have fully paid for reservations, but only given some of the tickets they paid for.
“It might be fraud, it might be incompetence, and it might be computer glitches, we don’t know yet,” said Sgt. Cella. “It’s very, very much in its infancy.”
The answer doesn’t sit well for families who remain unsure of their holiday plans.”The alleged scammer remains under investigation. The Logos travel agency was not available for comment.
