Peppers Retreats, Resorts & Hotels has announced that Seven Spirit Bay Wilderness Lodge has joined its collection of indulgent retreats, with the retreat becoming Peppers Seven Spirit Bay, Arnhem Land from October 9, 2006.

Peppers is celebrating with a special opening package rate of $1,095 per person, more details below.

The luxury lodge recently won two gold plate awards including Best Northern Territory Fine Dining Restaurant at the Australian Hotels Association Awards for Excellence and is short-listed for Best Lodge Accommodation in this year’s The Australian Travel & Tourism Awards.

Peppers describes Seven Spirit Bay as a delicious tapestry of natural beauty, unspoilt wilderness and complete isolation blended with luxurious accommodation, exceptional food and wine and the local charm for which Peppers is renowned.  Nestled amongst tropical forest, Peppers Seven Spirit Bay hovers on the edge of the Arafura Sea in Garig Gunak Barlu National Park, on the remote northern most point of the Cobourg Peninsula of the Northern Territory in Aboriginal Arnhem Land.

Gunter Steib, Group General Manager, Peppers says, “Peppers Seven Spirit Bay continues the Peppers tradition of highly individual retreats in unique environments that offer guests an extraordinary travel experience – one they are guaranteed never to forget”.

Immersed in tropical NT surroundings are 23 habitats, including three Bay View premier habitats where guests are privately lodged, allowing for complete retreat, comfort and relaxation, with each habitat carefully designed to take full advantage of tranquil views with 5 sides of floor to ceiling louvred shades and screens, with private, semi-open “bathroom gardens” for a unique wilderness bathing experience.

Getting there is part of the adventure with a 45-minute flight over Van Diemens Gulf to Cobourg Peninsula ending at a private airstrip from where guests will be taken to the remote lodge, and entry is granted by Aboriginal tribal elders and permit only.

To celebrate the opening, Peppers Seven Spirit Bay is offering a special package* at $1,095 per person, per night, based on twin share, which includes:

Tropical habitat accommodation for 2 for 2 nights;

Breakfast, lunch and five course dinners; and

With complimentary guided 4×4 and walking safaris.

Prices from: $1,095 per person.

*Valid until 30 November, 2006. Subject to availability. Valid seven days a week. Not available in conjunction with any other offer.
