Personal Travel Agents: 99 per cent of customers will take a holiday in 2023
A survey by The Midcounties Co-operative’s homeworking business, The Personal Travel Agents, reveals 99% of customers plan taking at least one holiday in 2023, despite the current economic crisis.
Around 81% plan multiple holidays, it says
It surveyed 2,500 customers and followers of the homeworkers’ social media channels, revealing that 40% would not be making any changes to their holiday plans because of the cost-of-living crisis.
A similar percentage would still go on holiday but would spend less while 18% claimed they would still get away but would take fewer holidays than usual.
Less than 1% said they would not go on holiday in 2023 due to financial concerns.
Sheena Whittle, Head of The Personal Travel Agents said: “We conducted the survey in early October, so the results are extremely current, and we are really heartened by the results.”
“To be able to tell agents that 99 per cent of their customers are going to give them business in 2023 is very reassuring, in uncertain times.”
