Pierce Brosnan caught boarding plane with hunting knife
Actor Pierce Brosnan was caught by security guards at a US with a hunting knife in his hand luggage.
The James Bond star was pulled aside at Burlington Airport in Vermont as he was trying to board a plane with his 14-year-old son Paris.
He was pulled aside after a routine scan found the 10-inch hunting knife in his carry-on bag.
The 62-year-old James Bond star was briefly quizzed about the offending item, and taken to a private room for a secondary screening.
Brosnan was reportedly a little shaken, not stirred, after being overheard muttering: "I can’t believe this is happening."
Burlington Police Department Lt. Shawn Burke said Brosnan ‘was encountered by TSA at one of their checkpoints’ and was allowed to proceed once the knife was placed in his checked luggage.
No charges have been filed against the actor.
