P&O to cruise from every mainland state
P&O Cruises has announced cruises from every mainland Australian state for the first time, including new holidays to Indonesia from Fremantle.
Offering a record 143 cruises, highlights of the 2014-15 programme include P&O Cruises’ first round trip sailings from Adelaide, as well as an extended season of cruises from Melbourne to South Australia and Tasmania, and new ports of call in Papua New Guinea.
The cruise line has also announced it will return to Western Australia in 2015, basing its superliner Pacific Jewel in Fremantle for the first time for a programme of eight cruises to Asia and Western Australian ports.
The new P&OSeaAsia cruises from Fremantle will include two 12-night sailings to Lombok, Bali and Komodo Island in Indonesia, as well as a 14-night cruise from Fremantle to Singapore with calls to Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Pacific Dawn will feature more Papua New Guinea cruises from Brisbane, including a 4-night cruise with maiden visits to the ports of Madang, Kavieng and Rabaul as well as scenic cruising of the Vitu Islands.
