Police nab nude dancers in Bali
The Blue Eyes Karaoke entertainment complex in Bali was raided by police last week, resulting in the arrest of four nude female dancers caught entertaining guests in one of the private karaoke salons.
According to a Bali Update (www.balidiscovery.com) report, police had long suspected the popular nightspot was providing strip-tease entertainment.
They mounted a sting operation to prove their suspicions were correct.
According to the report, the dancing girls were booked from an outside source and not from the stable of female drinking companions employed at Blue Eyes.
The two managers of the nightspot in Sanur have been detained and are facing criminal charges. The four women have been released.
Public displays of nudity are forbidden under Indonesian law.
