The prime ministers of Thailand and Ireland were last week seen travelling abroad to promote tourism to their countries.
Today TravelMole joins forces with the European Tour Operators Association (ETOA) to ask if Gordon Brown should follow their lead.
Next week is British Tourism Week and on Wednesday, UKinbound and ETOA launch the Britain & Ireland Marketplace, a new workshop dedicated to generating tourism in Britain & Ireland.
In advance of this, please help us reveal the true health of the market by filling in an ETOA survey on the state of UK and Ireland tourism in 2009.
