Port Canaveral is world’s new cruise capital

PortMiami has lost its crown as the world’s busiest cruise port.

It has been surpassed by Port Canaveral, which welcomed four million cruise ship passengers in 2022.

That is very slightly ahead of Miami.

Port Canaveral had 4,072,396 multi-day cruise ship passengers compared to PortMiami’s 4,022,544 guests.

“We’ve always aimed to be the best cruise port in the world,” said Captain John Murray, Port Canaveral CEO.

“This historic milestone is testament to the efforts of our team and cruise partners.”
