Prices for Portugal holidays plunge
Portugal’s downgrade to the amber list has seen average prices for holidays plunge by nearly two-thirds. Package prices have slumped 64% says price comparison site TravelSupermarket.
It says seven-night family package holidays during school holidays are up for grabs for as little as £180 per person but bargain hunters will have to self-isolate on their return.
Other amber destinations are also significantly cheaper than 2019 prices such as Tenerife, Gran Caaria and Corfu, all down at least 20%.
