PSARA revamps agent website
A library of digital brochures will feature as part of a revamped PSARA website.
Deck plans of cruise ships, and ship and cruise line information will be included as the organisation aims to make the www.psa-psara.org site a one-stop-shop for all cruising information.
Using the website’s search engine, agents will be able to bring up cruise line itineraries and availability to help better handle cruise enquiries.
Consumers will be able to find the contact details for their local PSARA travel agent through the site.
An online training programme is to be launched next year to complement the existing classroom-based training that is available across the UK and Ireland.
This will be enhanced next spring with new online training courses allowing agents to complete the new PSARA courses via the website.
PSARA Business development director Andy Harmer said: “We are constantly looking for new ways to support our agents and have listened to their requests for enhanced online cruise resources.
“With such a wide product range, it is essential that cruise agents develop as much knowledge as possible about the industry. The website is designed to be a complete online learning resource.”
