Qantas aircraft attacked by laser…….again
An AAP report this morning says that Queensland Police are investigating a laser attack on a plane in Brisbane.
The Qantas plane, from Canberra, had a laser shone into its cockpit around 7 o’clock as it was landing.
Police say searching for the culprit is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
The offence, which can distract pilots and permanently damage their eyesight, attracts a two-year jail sentence and a fine of $5,500.
