Qantas flying to LA
Qantas is starting non-stop flights between Los Angeles and Brisbane on 16 June, a move it says will make Brisbane the most convenient gateway to the Great Barrier Reef for US travelers. “With the inauguration of the new Los Angeles-Brisbane flights, Qantas will provide American passengers with easier access to tourist attractions throughout Queensland, including the Great Barrier Reef,” said Howard Goldberg, vice president, sales. The airline said this marked the first-ever non-stop flights between Los Angeles and Brisbane. The airline also said Qantas offered the only seamless connections from North America to 50 cities in Australia and five cities in New Zealand.
