Qatar Airways lands in Abha
Qatar Airways has landed at Abha International Airport, restarting flights to its 11th destination in Saudi Arabia.
The airline is operating two weekly flights to Abha offering connectivity on Qatar Airways’ global network of over 170 destinations.
Qatar Airways also serves AlUla, Dammam, Jeddah, Medina, NEOM, Qassim, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, and Yanbu in Saudi Arabia
Qatar Airways’ Group CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said: “We are delighted to resume flights to Abha, our 11th gateway. With over 140 weekly flights, we connect more than 36,000 passengers weekly between Saudi Arabia and Doha.”
Air Connectivity Program CEO, Mr. Majid Khan, said: “The cooperation between the Air Connectivity Program and Qatar Airways is a significant step in enhancing the Kingdom’s air connectivity.”
Qatar Airways began its services to Saudi Arabia with the inaugural flight to Jeddah on 29 January 1997.
Flight tickets to Abha are available through the Qatar Airways website, mobile app and travel agencies.
