Radisson brands to debut in New Zealand
Radisson Hotel Group is entering the New Zealand market after signing a four-property deal comprising a total of 777 rooms.
Agreements with subsidiaries of NZ Horizons Limited and Remarkables Hotel Limited will see the NZ debut of three Radisson brands – Radisson Blu, Radisson RED and Park Inn by Radisson.
The pllanned developments are Radisson Blu and Radisson RED hotels in Queenstown, and Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels at Lake Tekapo.
The hotels are scheduled to open in 2021 and 2022.
"The fact that Radisson Hotel Group has committed to four projects is a great reflection of their confidence in the region’s tourism industry and we are delighted to be developing these hotels," said Anthony Tosswill, director, NZ Horizons and Remarkables Hotel Limited.
Radisson Blu Hotel Queenstown, Remarkables Park will have 171 rooms and suites as well as a range of amenities including an executive lounge, F&B outlets, a fitness centre and event space.
The 257-room Radisson RED Queenstown, Remarkables Park will also feature F&B outlets, a 24-hour fitness centre and flexible meeting space.
At Lake Tekapo, the 112-room Park Inn by Radisson Lake Tekapo opens in Q2, 2021, and the 237-room Radisson Blu Resort Lake Tekapo is scheduled to launch in Q4, 2022.
