Raffles opens in Bali

While much of the hotel industry scrambles to reduce operating costs, Accor is bullish on the luxury Bali market.

It just introduced iconic brand Raffles to the Indonesian holiday island.

It is the second Raffles in Indonesia after Jakarta and the 15th in its global portfolio.

Situated at Jimbaran Bay, Raffles Bali has only 32 private pool villas and is the first Raffles to launch the brand’s new wellbeing programme, Emotional Wellbeing by Raffles.

Resort culinary offerings include Rumari restaurant set at the resort’s highest point, Loloan Beach Bar and Grill, and The Secret Cave for private dining.

The resort also introduces a new outpost for the brand’s iconic Writers Bar and the adjoining Library serving its own locally inspired Raffles Bali Sling.

Guest recreation and pampering can be enjoyed at Raffles Spa and the 25m infinity pool.

"The highly-anticipated Raffles Bali will be the brand’s second hotel in Indonesia, and is set to become a special retreat for guests," said Michael Issenberg, chairman and CEO, Accor Asia Pacific.

Bali remains closed to international tourism although it has tentative plans to gradually reopen in September.
