RCI brings in industry outsider for key account role
Royal Caribbean International has appointed industry outsider Guy Farrow as key account manager for the UK & Ireland.
He joins this week from FMCG equipment pooling business, CHEP, where he worked in account management, looking after logistics companies and food manufacturers.
In his new role Farrow will report into Amanda Darrington, sales director for UK & Ireland, and will be responsible for a number of key agents across the country, dividing his time between the office and being out on the road.
RCI said his appointment completes the key account management team.
Darrington said: "Guy brings with him a unique insight from outside the travel industry in personalised account management that will help identity the strengths of each individual business. His management and sales experience will make him a valuable team member in addition to the passion he has shown for the industry."
