A record number of Royal Caribbean International ships fleet will sail in Europe in 2011.
The line’s 2011 European deployment of ten vessels will be an increase from eight ships this year and offers more than 100 itineraries, ranging from three to 18 nights.
The company will visit 27 countries and 78 ports.
Liberty of the Seas and Grandeur of the Seas will sail their maiden European seasons from Barcelona and Palma respectively.
Independence of the Seas will continue its year-round service from Southampton and Jewel of the Seas is to operate from Harwich to Scandinavia and Russia.
Adventure of the Seas will run short Med cruises from Malaga for a second summer.
Naviagtor of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas and Brilliance of the Seas are to all offer seven-night eastern Med, Greek islands and Turkey fly-cruise itineraries.
Vision of the Sea will sail in the Baltic and Norwegian fjords.
Brilliance of the Seas will also operate 12-night winter sun sailings from Barcelona to Egypt, Sicily, Greece and Malta as well as returning to Dubai to sail in the Arabian Gulf and to Goa and Bombay.
Splendour of the Seas will also be operating in Europe next summer but details of itineraries have yet to be confirmed.
A 2011 brochure is broken up into sections dedicated to different holiday choices such as short breaks, traditional 14-night main summer holidays, Northern Europe and winter sun.
Agents will find pages of short cruise options designed for first time cruisers to sample an at-sea holiday option.
Early booking discounts of up to £500 per cabin are available for cruises booked before June 30.
The majority of the European programme has gone on sale.
