Record July for Monarch Scheduled
Monarch’s scheduled services carried 23% more passengers last month than July 2005.
The airline flew 349,707 passengers in the month against 282,726 last July with a load factor up from 80% to 83.4%.
The proportion of internet sales via www.flyMonarch.com rose by 12% to 83% over the same month last year.
The airline said July had been its busiest month to date, including one week when a record 472 flights were operated.
