Regent Hotels expanding in Asia
Hospitality group Regent Hotels & Resorts has announced deals for three new luxury hotels in China and one in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta.
Slated to open in early October 2016, Regent Chongqing will feature 181 rooms and 21 suites targeted at upscale business traveller.
Regent Place Harbin and Regent Place Xian are expected to open in 2017.
"We are thrilled to expand Regent’s footprint in some of Asia’s most prosperous markets," said Regent chairman Steven Pan.
"We are excited about these new developments, and look forward to continuing to provide our guests with extraordinary experiences worldwide."
The Regent Jakarta luxury hotel and residential project will house 54 rooms and 72 suites and three- to four- bedroom private residences spread over 37 floors.
It will also have an upscale luxury full-floor penthouse residence with private swimming pool.
The Regent Jakarta is set to debut some time during 2018
