Report: Indian cruisers overwhelmingly choose Asia cruise holidays
India based cruise booking platform Int2Cruises cites major worth of cruise holidays in India with most Indian travellers choosing to cruise within Asia.
Int2Cruises is the first ever cruise-specific online travel platform in Asia.
The Int2Cruises study finds more than 70% of Indians take Asia sailings, with Singapore leading as the most popular destination to sail from.
The report says Singapore is a top pick among all age ranges, including for family cruise holidays
Breaking it down, Hong Kong is popular with younger families, while Alaska is a top pick for seniors.
The report finds that over two-thirds of bookings are made less than 90 days before sailing.
This is much shorter on average compared to other regions.
Akansha Agarwal, CMO of Int2Cruises, said: “What we’re witnessing is the rise of a new generation of cruise travellers; more curious, value-conscious and digitally confident.”
