Rewarding Florida

Monday, 11 May, 2004 0

VISIT FLORIDA, the state’s official source for travel planning, announced new incentives for travel agents as part of its “Sell Florida, Get Rewarded” program.

Agents earn points selling the Featured Florida Hotels that can be redeemed for personal travel, gift certificates and merchandise. There are more than 150 hoteliers involved in the promotion, as well as local CVB’s.

“Agents earn rewards on every booking they make to Florida so they can then experience the destination first hand,” said Mark Murphy, president and CEO of Performance Media Group, the company that created the program for VISIT FLORIDA.

Bud Nocera, president and CEO of VISIT FLORIDA, said the program illustrated how agents continue to be valued as a sales force for Florida.

Agents can find more information at www.VISITFLORIDArewards.com.
