Riviera Travel adds regional departures for long haul tours
Riviera Travel is offering regional flight options from selected UK airports on some long-haul tours departing in 2026 and 2027.
Regional flights will be available from four airports – Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh and are valid for tours in Sri Lanka, South Africa, India and Japan.
Riviera Travel already offers regional departures for Morocco tours and river cruises.
The operator says the regional departure expansion comes amid increased demand from customers for regional departures.
“Our long-haul touring programme is currently up 20% year-on-year, and it’s still accelerating. We recognised that to truly serve our customers across the UK, we needed to expand our regional presence,” said Director of Trade & Partnerships, Vicky Billing.
“We already operate over 17 regional flights through our river cruise programme, and while this new expansion doesn’t match that scale yet, it’s a significant move forward.”
