Rock legend to speak at Advantage conference
Rock legend Bruce Dickinson will speak at the Advantage Conference in what will be his first address to a UK travel audience.
The Iron Maiden lead singer is also a commercial airline pilot and was formerly a marketing director at Astraeus Airlines.
The airline recently went into administration but Dickinson is now in the process of leading it out of liquidation.
Bruce will talk to delegates about change management and the need to be agile and flexible in business.
According to Advantage, he will provide a "fascinating insight into how to thrive in the ultimate change management environment: one day selling out 50,000 seater arenas, the next day negotiating complex leasing agreements with aircraft providers; the need to be agile and flexible in business planning with an ability to seize an unexpected opportunity; the ups and downs of business and the sometimes hard lessons that have to be learnt; and offer a glimpse into the potential future of air travel and the opportunities it may present the travel industry".
The Advantage Conference takes place from 26 to 29 April 2012 in Malta.
