Royal Caribbean loses marketing chief
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s marketing director for EMEA has left the cruise line.
Michael Zollo quit on Friday after two years amid industry rumours of other senior level departures from the company.
The line is to broaden the EMEA marketing role to also include sales and is recruiting to find a replacement for Zollo, who joined Royal Caribbean from a non-travel background.
A company statement said: “The European marketing role will broaden to encompass EMEA sales and following discussion Zollo took the decision to leave the company and continue his career in mainstream marketing, which is where his track record and experience lies.”
