Royal Caribbean names new marketing director
Royal Caribbean has appointed Tamara Strauss as its new marketing director as part of a shakeup of the company’s marketing communications in the UK and Ireland.
Strauss was previously with InterContinental Hotels Group, where she held a number of senior marketing roles and managed a multi-million pound relaunch of Holiday Inn in the UK.
She will lead the marketing, communications and distribution teams to bring the Royal Caribbean International brand to a wider audience, targeting the new-to-cruise audience, said the company.
The announcement follows the recent appointment of three new PR agencies: The Red Consultancy for its day-to-day press enquiries, Good Relations for the launch of its newest ship Harmony of the Seas in 2016, O’Hea PR as the its first dedicated PR agency for Ireland, and social media agency OMD.
Further agency appointments are due to be announced in due course.
