Royal Caribbean unveils plans for new USD300 million Miami HQ
Royal Caribbean has received tentative approval for a new office development at PortMiami.
The development calls for a new 10-story office building on the site of Royal Caribbean’s current parking lot.
It would expand the space for a workforce of 4,200 employees, compared to the 2,200 capacity of its current office nearby.
The Dodge Island building will be created by New York architecture firm HOK and designed to look like a cruise ship.
The $300 million project is targeted for completion by October 2020 and also includes renovation of the existing buildings which will be finished a year later.
Miami-Dade County commissioners are set to vote on the proposal next month.
