Ryanair adds three new Stansted routes for winter 18/19
Ryanair has unveiled three new winter routes from London Stansted to Belfast, Edinburgh and Nantes.
Unveiling its winter 2018/19 London schedules today, it confirmed 143 routes in total from Stansted, Luton and Gatwick.
At Stansted, new routes to Nantes will fly four times week.
New winter flights to Belfast will operate three times a day and to Edinburgh four times a day.
Flights go on sale from next month for flights until March 2019.
But Ryanair called for clarity before it publishes its summer 2019 schedule given the uncertainty surrounding Brexit.
It warned it may be forced to consider a change to its terms and conditions for travel to and from the UK after April 1 2019 should the legal basis for the operation of flights between the UK and the EU by autumn 2018 remain undefined.
Ryanair chief Michael O’Leary reportedly told an airline conference in Brussels he wants to ground flights for a brief period after Britain leaves the European Union to make voters realise the impact of Brexit.
Speaking alongside other airline leaders at the conference, he said he wanted to ‘create an opportunity’ by making people realise they are ‘no longer going to have cheap holidays’.
