Ryanair apologises for crew member’s ‘regrettable comment’
Ryanair has apologised for one of its crew members who joked, ‘we don’t want to die’ after a flight was delayed due to ice on the wing.
The flight, due to leave from Glasgow to Dublin, had already been delayed for several hours when the announcement was made to passengers.
In a video clip, filmed by a passenger and shared on social media, a cabin crew member said that the plane could not take off due to ice on the wing, adding, ‘we don’t want to die’.
Ryanair said it would be speaking to the crew member involved and apologised for the ‘regrettable comment she made in the heat of the moment’.
