Ryanair expands ancillary offering
Hostelworld.com is to provide hostel, B&B and guesthouse deals to Ryanair’s website.
The company will offer the airline’s passengers over 5,500 properties throughout Europe in a five-year arrangement.
Reservations are secured on www.ryanair.com by paying a 10% deposit with the balance paid on arrival. Beds start at €5 a night.
Ryanair’s Santina Doherty said: “Over the period of this deal, Ryanair will double in size, enabling Hostelworld.com to increase its market share while providing even more value accommodation for our millions of passengers.”
Hostelworld.com chief executive Ray Nolan said: “By partnering with Europe’s leading low fares airline we are providing the ideal accommodation solution for people looking for a budget break.”
“Hostelworld offers hostel and B&B accommodation at every one of Ryanair’s 136 destinations.”
