Ryanair launches summer flights from Liverpool
Ryanair will offer more flights to Bratislava in Slovakia and Krakow in Poland from Liverpool airport next summer.
Launching its 2015 programme three months earlier than last year, the airline said it would offer a total of 32 routes from the airport, offering 122 weekly return flights. It expects to carry 1.5 million passengers in total.
The airline today took delivery of the first of its 180 new Boeing 737-800s, which will enable it to open more routes and offer additional frequencies next summer, by which time a further 19 will have joined its fleet.
On Monday, Ryanair signed an agreement with Boeing to buy up to 200 new Boeing 737 MAX 200, which will offer eight more seats than the 737-800s and an 18% lower fuel consumption.
