Ryanair launching three new Liverpool routes
Ryanair has announced three new routes from Liverpool, and will base sixth aircraft at John Lennon Airport
The low-cost carrier is launching new flights to Tirana, Marrakesh and Warsaw as it expands its 2026 summer schedule from the Northwest.
The airport says it is gearing up for one of its ‘busiest years ever.’
John Irving, CEO of Liverpool John Lennon Airport, said: “This news highlights Liverpool John Lennon Airport’s strategic importance for the city and wider Northwest and North Wales.
“Ryanair’s decision to base a sixth aircraft at Liverpool in 2026 is likely to help the airport go on to break all previous passenger records.”
Ryanair said it will also boost frequencies to Alicante, Barcelona, Faro, Ibiza, and Krakow.
“We are delighted to celebrate more Ryanair investment and record growth for the Northwest,” added Jason McGuinness, chief commercial officer at Ryanair.
