Ryanair’s June traffic increased by 13% to a record 5.8 million.
The figure exceeds the 5.7 million passenger record set in August 2008.
The airline also carried more than 60 million passengers in the 12 months to the end of June – a new annual traffic record.
The June load factor was up one percentage point over the same month last year to 85%.
Ryanair is now on course to carry 67 million passengers in its full year, a spokesman said.
