Ryanair shares drop
There were several decent performances from travel shares – but no spectacular ones – as London’s equity markets pushed ahead.
The FTSE 100 index gained 57.5 points to close at 4547.2, while the FTSE 250 added 18.1 points to end the session at 6228.8.
The most significant change was at Ryanair, which lost 9.375p to end the day at 313.75p.
