Sabre and Aeromexico launch NDC content
México based carrier Aeromexico has added NDC content on the Sabre global distribution system (GDS).
Aeromexico is rolling out its NDC offers in waves, starting in Mexico this month.
The airline’s content is now available through the Sabre Offer and Order APIs, agency booking solution Sabre Red 360 and online booking tool, GetThere in Mexico.
“We are delighted to take this next step in our NDC journey with Sabre,” said Rastislav Martos, Aeromexico SVP of Revenue Distribution.
“The launch of NDC is another example of the great work both teams have done to improve the customer experience.”
Sabre is the first GDS to distribute Aeromexico’s NDC content.
The Sabre Beyond NDC program lets airlines expand offer- and order-based retailing to third-party travel sellers, such as travel agencies and online booking tools.
Sabre has partnered with Aeromexico for over 15 years.
Headquartered in Mexico City, Aeromexico operates more than 550 daily flights to 89 domestic and international destinations.
It flies to destinations across Mexico, North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
Aeromexico is also a founding member of the SkyTeam airline alliance.
