Sabre Corp has given business travel management platform GetThere a makeover with new mobile tools and upgraded features.

The revamp brings more self-service options and provides an ‘optimal search, shop and book experience’ Sabre says.

GetThere now has a simplified and responsive design which is fully optimized for mobile and the booking workflow is more intuitive and consistent on any device, whether desktop, tablet or mobile phone.

"Today’s business traveler wants the convenience of self-service solutions. Our new traveler-centric design in GetThere puts the user first with new mobile capabilities and relevant content that’s essential for a smarter travel program," said Wade Jones, interim president of Sabre Travel Network.

The improvements come after qualitative usability research sessions by the GetThere user experience team analyzed what travelers and travel managers want and need from an online booking tool.

"Travel managers and travelers will also have access to more content and the ability to differentiate various fare offerings from airlines including branded fares – helping business travelers get the exact services and features that they need to be productive," Jones added.
