Sabre testing new Google hotel marketing program
Sabre is launching a beta test for a new hotel digital marketing program through Google to help drive more web traffic to hotels.
The Google Hotel Ads Commission Program will enable travelers to book through Google Search, Google Maps or Google+ and Sabre’s hotel clients in the program only pay a commission on bookings made, rather than Google’s existing cost-per-click model.
The program has integrated the Google platforms with Sabre’s SynXis Central Reservation system which automatically accesses hotels’ commissionable rates without individual hoteliers needing to make any amendments.
"Our ability to be the first CRS provider to offer the Google Hotel Ads Commission Program shows the influence of the Sabre brand in the industry as well as our commitment to deliver new and valuable opportunities to our hotel customers," said Sabre hospitality solutions president Alex Alt.
Sabre’s SynXis Enterprise platform is used by more than 20,000 hotels worldwide.
