Safaris in Zambia for sale
Two of Zambia’s most sought-after venues, Tongabezi Lodge, a romantic hideaway just upstream from storied Victoria Falls, and Sausage Tree Camp, a luxury tented safari camp set on the banks of the Zambezi River, announce a special safari deal for April and May, 2009 –10 nights for the price of 8.
Stay at Sausage Tree Camp between April and May and get six nights for the price of five. Continue on to Tongabezi and get four nights at Tongabezi for the price of three.
Rates for Sausage Tree Camp from April 1 through May 31, 2009 are US$595 per night per person sharing. Rate includes: accommodations, meals, beverages, laundry, park fees (and the parks are breathtaking), internal park transfers, a private butler and return flights between Sausage Tree Camp and Lusaka. Not included are gratuities, champagne, external park transfers, and shopping. Rate for a private fishing boat or vehicle is US$350 a day. Activities include: game drives (day and night); canoeing; walking safaris; boat trips: fishing and birding.
Rates for April 1 through May 31, 2009 for Tongabezi (2008 World Travel Awards winner Leading Zambian Safari) are US$450 per night per person sharing. Rate includes accommodations, meals, beverages (except champagne, premium wines and liqueurs), private valet for the cottage, visits to Victoria Falls, Tongabezi Trust School, and local villages, game drives, and crafts and market shopping. Not included: Flights between Lusaka and Livingstone; visit to Livingstone Island, bungee jumping, horse riding, gorge swing, elephant-back safari, white-water rafting and helicopter flights. Rates for Singles and Children are available on request. An eight-night safari is also available.
