Samoa showcasing tourism product on European road trip
Beautiful Samoa is bringing some much needed South Pacific sunshine to Europe in the coming months.
The Samoa Tourism Authority is on the road to showcase Samoa to the European travel trade and media from Austria to the UK.
Known as the Treasured Islands of the South Pacific – the true heart of Polynesia, Samoa is exhibiting at Meet the Pacific Shows across the continent, beginning in Vienna on February 20.
That follows with Zurich on February 22 before joining UK travel trade partners at the 12th Annual Unite Pacific & Australasia in London on February 26.
The roadshow continues with stops in Milan, Madrid and Prague.
The Samoa Tourism Authority team will then attend TravMedia’s IMM (International Media Market) at the Grand Hyatt Berlin on March 5, in the company of journalists, editors and broadcasters, before exhibiting at Stand Number 110 at ITB Berlin from March 6.
The roadshow concludes in Chester, UK at the Travel Bulletin South Pacific Showcase evening on 15 April.
The islands of Independent Samoa, once home to author Robert Louis Stevenson, offer a reef-to-rainforest experience for travellers, featuring pristine beaches, snorkelling, diving, hiking and Polynesian culture.
