Sandals appoints new Groups manager
Sandals Resorts has appointed Paul Tidy as the new groups manager for the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Tidy, who was previously business development manager for Sandals, leaves a role as trade accounts manager for Merlin Entertainments Group responsible for Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures Resort and LEGOLAND, Windsor.
In his new role, Tidy will be responsible for increasing the Groups business across all three brands; Sandals, Beaches and Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts.
Karl Thomson, managing director, Sandals Resorts UK said: “It is great to have our previous Business Development Manager of the Year back to head up our Groups strategy, particularly at a time when our resorts are being so pro-active in attracting this market.”
In 2009 Paul Tidy was awarded both Sandals Business Development Manager of the Year and Flight Centre Account Manager of the Year.
