Sandals certified as one of world’s top dive companies

The Caribbean’s Sandals Resorts International has reached 50,000 certifications to become one of the premier dive divisions in the world.

The award was made by PADI Worldwide, the world’s leading scuba diving authority, and now sees Sandals become one of the world’s top five companies for scuba.

Each of the Caribbean-based company’s resorts offers scuba diving using custom-made Newton boats to Nitrox and ScubaPro equipment and the highest level of expertise.

Sandals Resorts International CEO Adam Stewart said: "Having world class partnerships such as we do with PADI is a major part of our business."

Sandals and Beaches Resorts’ PADI Five Star operation offers more than 500 different dive sites from wreck and wall diving to night and shark dives.

"The best part is that, for accredited divers, it’s all included," Stewart said.
