Sandals tries to calm agent complaints over commission cuts
Sandals Resorts today is meeting with its top travel agents to calm concerns over commission cuts to its Soon Come Back program for returning guests.
Many agents were angered when Sandals announced it is capping commissions for the program at 10%, where previously top-producing agents could earn up to 16%.
The all-inclusive hotel company is meeting for the next three days with members of its Chairman’s Royal Club at Sandals Emerald Bay.
"They were super-surprised by some of the backlash from a very small percentage of agents," a Sandals spokesperson told TravelMole, "but I think they will work it out."
The Soon Come Back program, launched five years ago, allows guests to book a future trip at a reduced price.
