SAS to raise Heathrow frequency
SAS is to introduce a seventh daily flight from Heathrow to Copenhagen.
The move from March 29 next year will bring the daily frequency up from six flights a day.
The expansion complements two daily flights from London City Airport to the Danish capital and will increase the airline’s services from London to Copenhagen to more than 50 flights a week.
SAS will operate business and economy services on all flights, in addition to its premium economy service, Economy Extra.
UK and Ireland general manager Lars-Ove Filipson said: “Following its outstanding success earlier this year, we are delighted to be reintroducing SAS’ seventh daily service from London Heathrow to Copenhagen.
“These additional services allow SAS to reinforce its position as the market leader. SAS offers a quality product that most of our competitors cannot match.
“With SAS you do not pay extra for baggage, our customers have a large number of options to check in at home, at the office or on their mobile. We also offer three classes each with individual advantages.â€
