Saudi Arabia’s newest airline signs first sports sponsorship deal
Saudi Arabia’s upcoming new airline Riyadh Air has signed a sponsorship deal with Spanish football club, Atlético de Madrid.
The multi-year partnership sees Riyadh Air become official airline partner of the club.
It is the new airline’s first sports sponsorship.
Riyadh Air will be the main sponsor and official airline partner with its logo on the team’s kits.
The new full-service airline is scheduled to begin operations in 2025, and is targeting links to over 100 destinations around the world by 2030.
“We are delighted to welcome Riyadh Air as our new main sponsor,” said Miguel Ángel Gil, CEO of Atlético de Madrid.
“I am confident that this alliance with Riyadh Air will elevate our club to new heights.”
