Competition on the route between Perth and Singapore will warm up when low cost carrier Scoot launches flights on December 19.
Perth is the airline’s 13th destination and third in Australia.
Scoot, an offshoot of Singapore Airlines, will fly five times a week to Singapore using wide body Boeing 777-200s.
The airline is offering a limited-time promotional fare of $88 one-way, taxes included.
