The Majestic Line is to feature in VisitScotland’s TV advert with its Glen Massan ship pictured in a sea loch setting.

The small-boat cruise company, based in Argyll, is delighted to be forming part of the ‘The Year of Natural Scotland’ campaign.

Owner Andy Thoms said: "At 85ft in length, the size of our vessels allows us to reach the hidden places in Argyll and the Hebrides which epitomise the true beauty and wildness of Scotland.

"From The Majestic Line vessels, guests enjoy front row seats to experience the fabulous scenery and the wonder of rare wildlife including basking sharks, dolphins, porpoises and even the occasional whale.  Over 60 bird species have been spotted in one week, with sightings of puffins, sea and golden eagles, peregrine falcons, ospreys and shearwaters relatively common."

To help celebrate The Year of Natural Scotland, the Majestic Line is offering £150 cash back on a six-night cruise to the Inner Hebrides in July and August for people keen to see Basking Sharks.
