SCVB releases latest incentive planner at Dreamtime
The Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau has released the latest edition of its successful Imagine Sydney Incentive Planner, and for the first time has unveiled a new online edition.
The planner was launched this week at Tourism Australia’s Dreamtime, Australia’s premier incentive travel show on the Gold Coast, where the SCVB showcased Sydney and NSW to around 140 qualified international incentive buyers from more than 20 countries.
The new online planner contains all the supplier listings contained in the printed version and has been designed as a view-anywhere resource for incentive planners. It can be found on the SCVB website www.scvb.com.au
SCVB Managing Director Jon Hutchison said the new online version of Imagine Sydney was the latest in a series of online resources introduced by the bureau.
“The new Imagine Sydney website will join the online edition of our Event Planner’s Guide, introduced earlier this year,” Mr Hutchison said. “The SCVB website also offers an online Find a Supplier service, Hot Deals listings, Event Tips, the AccessNSW service and a Destination Sydney guide.”
The Imagine Sydney planner has become the benchmark resource for anyone planning an incentive in Sydney, offering an insight into the inspiring array of attractions, tours, activities and facilities available throughout Sydney and NSW.
The printed 2006/07 edition contains 56 colour pages of information, including listings for venues, accommodation, event organisers, destination management companies, gala events and restaurants, plus a calendar of Sydney’s public events and festivals and a list of essential travel information.
More than 3,000 copies will be distributed in North America and Europe as well as Australia. The bureau has also produced 3,000 copies designed especially for Asia, available in both English and simplified Chinese.
