Scottish Passenger Agents Association secretary Alisdair Tannahill is standing down after ten year on the role.
Janice Hogarth, who relinquishes her business development post with Alba Travel, is taking over as SPAA secretary from April 1.
The SPAA council recently recognised Tannahill’s “major contribution” to the association, by endowing him with honorary membership.
Association president Brian Potter said: “The high profile and respect with which the SPAA is viewed today – not least in government and aviation circles – is in no small way attributable to the efforts of Alisdair Tannahill.
“Not only has he been an exemplary secretary of the Association, during one of the most challenging periods in its existence, but also he has tirelessly championed the SPAA’s role as an effective lobbyist on behalf of its members.
“We’ll miss Alisdair’s quiet efficiency and wise counsel, but of course we warmly welcome Janice Hogarth into the role.
"Janice brings with her long and deep experience in the UK travel sector."
