Shangri-La announces Kerry Hotel opening for Hong Kong

Tuesday, 24 Jun, 2016 0
Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced a fourth hotel for Hong Kong, with the 545-room Kerry Hotel Hong Kong set to open in December.

The 16-storey waterfront hotel is located at Hung Hom Bay in Kowloon with more than 60% of guestrooms featuring harbour views.

Shangri-La says it will have the largest meeting, event and catering facilities with a grand ballroom seating more than 1,000 people banquet style and 17 versatile meeting venues.

‘People no longer look just for accommodation and dining facilities in a hotel. They desire a holistic destination that satisfies a variety of needs while at the same time provides a sense of belonging and connection to the community," said Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong general manager Nicholas Smith.

Room reservations go live from September 2016.

The hotel will also feature The Club Lounge, outdoor swimming pool, 24-hour fitness centre and retail outlets.

The Hotel Kerry brand made its debut in 2011 and is part of Shangri-La’s portfolio of hotels under the Shangri-La, Kerry, Hotel Jen and Traders brands, numbering an inventory of more than 40,000 rooms.
