Shaping the Travel Agent of Tomorrow – the next TravelMole Question Time

Details are announced today of the next TravelMole Travel Industry Question Time debate on the future of the travel agent.

The event ‘Shaping the Travel Agent of Tomorrow – future strategies for growth’ will be held in association with ABTA at its Newman Street headquarters on October 18 from 15.00-17.00.

Speakers confirmed so far include Sabre vice-president of northern region and global accounts Reet Wiseman, Advantage Travel Centres managing director John McEwan and Trustaccommodation sales and marketing director John Harding.

The debate will cover questions such as:

*Is specialisation the route to growth?

*Will online dynamic packaging services rescue agents or be a passing phase?

*Should agents become tour operators?

*Will service win out?

*Can agents fight back against online rivals?
