Shinta Mani Hotels taps architect Bill Bensley for new designer brand
Celebrated design guru Bill Bensley has joined forces with long-time client the Shinta Mani Group to launch a new brand in his honour – The Bensley Collection.
The new portfolio of high end luxury hotels and resorts will formally roll out in November 2017 with the Shinta Mani Angkor – Bensley Collection.
Located in Siem Reap, it features two-level villas with art deco inspired décor and floor to ceiling glassed bathroom with garden views.
In the third quarter of 2018 the group will open Shinta Mani Wild – Bensley Collection, a luxurt tented resort, situated in rural Tmor Rung, two hours from Phnom Penh.
It will have 16 luxury custom designed tents measuring 100 square metres which Bensley describes as ‘a utopia of sustainability.’
Guests can expect ‘world-class design, hospitality and conservation’ the company says in a release.
Bensley has worked on Shinta Mani’s other hotels including the Shinta Mani Club which was recently rebranded as Shinta Mani Angkor.
